Moc Bai/Bavet (Cambodia-Vietnam border)-Phnom Penh-Kampong Chhnang-Battambang-Siem Rep

For those we wish to visit Cambodia after being in Vietnam, this program will be a good combination.
09 days/08 nights
Some parts of the roads may be difficult to drive during the rainy season (July & August). In this case we may have to rent 4x4 with additional charges.
There are two different boats operating between these two cities, depending on the season. In the dried season (from March to July), only the small boat is available. There are not seats and only the long benches with sofas are available. From Battambang to Siem Reap, it takes about 5/6 hours by boat. So, in the dried season, it is not highly recommended.
In the rest of the months (from August to February), the express boats are operating and there is no problem.
Can be done all the year round

Day 01 Arrival Moc Bai (Bavet).
Drive to Phnom Penh (167 km, 3/4 hours)
Welcome at the border checkpoint and drive to Phnom Penh. On the way, visit local village and take the ferry to Phnom
Penh. Arrival to Phnom Penh and transfer to hotel. Visit Wat Phnom pagoda, Independence monument, and walking around the river. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 02 Phnom Penh
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. . Visit Angkor Borei, Choeung Ek Memorial (The Killing Fields), National Museum, Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda. In the late afternoon, visit Russian market and take the boat ride on Tonle Bassac River during the sunset time. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 03 Drive to Kampong Chhnang (91 km, 1:30 hours)
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Kampong Chhnang. On the way visit Udong, the silver handicraft and floating village. Arrive in Kompong Chhnang and visit short city tours like visit the floating port, high market, Kong Rai mountaint (history of Cambodia) and bigger of the distroy of mine in Cambodia. Overnight in Kompong Chhang.

Day 04 Drive to Battambang (200 km, 3/4 hours)
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Battambang via the Pursat Province and visit local village. Afternoon arrival Battambang and check in at the hotel. Visit central market, National museum, cultural villages, etc. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 05 Battambang
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit the temple on Bannon Hill, and Phnom Sampov (large of sailing mount). Afternoon short city tours: visit White elephant of Pagoda and continue to visit Prasat Ek Phnom and Wat Ek Phnom. Overnight in Battambang.

Day 06 Boat to Siem Reap
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Short city tour and transfer to Pier for the boat to Siem Rap via the Tonle Sap great lake . Upon arrival in Siem Reap, transfer to hotel and check-in. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 07 Siem Reap
Morning, breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkorians of group Roluos with the visit of Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei. Afternoon, visit small circuit: Ta Keo, Ta Prhom, Banteay Kdei, Spean Thma, Thommannon, and Srah Srang, Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 08 Siem Reap
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Angkor Thom: south gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Leper King and Elephant terrace. Afternoon visit the world wonder of Angkor Wat temple and sunset tour at Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 09 Departure
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. visit the Bantey Srei “The City of Women” and Bantey Samré. Transfer to International Airport for departure.
